"There is freedom waiting for you on the breezes of the sky, and you ask, 'What if I fall?'.

Oh, but my darling,

what if you fly?"

Acting on your creative vision is the healing

At some point you were shown that creativity was

unsafe

stupid

silly

useless...

Yet I've found it's the opposite:

purposeful

aligning

crucial

a return to you

I remember when I decided to DANCE AGAIN

before that I was....

depressed

lost

ashamed

sick

And once I DECIDED my childhood dream mattered

I regained clarity

confidence

community

joy and flow

"I have been missing my art. I keep telling myself I will come back to it, but I always let work and life get in the way. So, I hired Mel as a creative accountability coach. I'm allowing myself space to create, without the pressure of commodification. Just free, intuitive creation.

It feels good."

About me, Mel

I am writer and a dancer. And I do this creative coaching work because I believe reconnecting with your creative dream is reconnecting with your LIFE. It is life-giving to you and the rest of us.

I remember when in 2009 I had a creative project idea, a multi-disciplinary modern-day ethics magazine! The goal was to help people talk to each other across conventional 'lines' and divisions. I kept putting it off until... I found someone to work on it with me. That day I realized I didn't have to do things alone. And that working in groups was the ANSWER for me.

Fast-forward: I went back to the town I started it in and found a copy on the dining room table of people I was visiting; my magazine had lived on 10+ years and I didn't even know until then! Proof that your creative idea NEEDS you to bring it to the world!

I aim to:

  • Help you love yourself again and say YES to your creative dream

  • Set up the structure and habits to accomplish your creative goals

  • Focus in to connect with your divine KNOWING and self-trust!

PS:  My Current creative projects = a coaching book and a flower inspiration card deck!

"Taking part in the group was exactly what I needed to allow myself the time and space to let my creativity flow. There is a quiet magic in creating in tandem with strangers, and those strangers quickly become connected. The guidance and prompts and inspiration from Mel sparked new ideas in my mind often.

I'm someone who struggles with follow through, and it felt so nice to have people just be in your corner with no expectation other than showing up and creating."
